MejorSet Kids — Panoramic Padel Court for Children

MejorSet Kids is a full-specification padel court scaled to 10 × 5 m for players aged 5–12. Built in the Full Panoramic format with 12mm tempered safety glass, galvanised steel construction, 4 × 200W LED lighting, and 120 km/h wind resistance, it delivers the same structural quality as professional MejorSet courts — the official courts of the International Padel Federation (FIP) — at dimensions that make the game genuinely accessible to younger players. Suitable for clubs, academies, schools, and family-oriented facilities introducing children to padel.

Construction and Materials

MejorSet Kids is built on the same structural principles as the full-size MejorSet range. The 10 × 5 m self-supporting frame uses galvanised steel with a QUALICOAT-certified oven-baked epoxy polyester resin finish, reinforced with 5 mm sheet and three horizontal crossbars (40 × 5 mm) to prevent buckling. Electro-welded mesh runs at 50 × 50 × 4 mm. The premium finish leaves no structural elements protruding around the glass perimeter — important detailing on a court where the youngest players will be learning and moving close to the boundary.

Glass

  • 12 mm tempered safety glass, mounted on 5 mm neoprene
  • Compliant with UNE EN 12150-1 standard
  • Full 360° panoramic enclosure — no posts interrupting sightlines

Paint and Coating

  • QUALICOAT-certified finish in client’s chosen colour
  • Optional two-coat pure epoxy primer for coastal or high-humidity installations

Artificial Turf Surface

The Kids court uses the same textured artificial turf as professional MejorSet courts. A 12 mm monofilament option in FIP colours is also available for installations in high-temperature environments. The turf is available in green or blue. Because the surface geometry mirrors a standard court at reduced scale, children develop footwork and movement patterns that transfer naturally when they progress to a full-size 20 × 10 m court.

Lighting

Four 200W LED fixtures provide even, shadow-free illumination across the 10 × 5 m playing area. The Kids court uses only two light posts — available in curved, straight, or Z-shaped profiles — keeping the structure clean and proportional at the reduced scale.

Safety Features

Safety is engineered into the Kids court at the construction level, not added as an afterthought:

  • Foldable mesh system helps prevent injury from impact with boundary panels
  • No protruding structural elements around the glass perimeter
  • 12 mm tempered glass on neoprene absorbs impact without sharp edges
  • Adapted net height suited to children’s reach and playing posture
  • Magnelis steel with QUALICOAT coating eliminates corrosion risk over the court’s working life

Customisation Options

  • Light post shape: curved, straight, or Z-shaped (2 posts)
  • Turf colour: green or blue
  • Up to two structure colours, QUALICOAT-certified
  • Customisable text on the net post protector
  • Client logo on the entrance plate and net post protector
  • Two-coat pure epoxy primer upgrade for coastal sites

Who the MejorSet Kids Court Is For

The MejorSet Kids court is built for the organisations shaping the next generation of players. Padel academies use it to teach technique in a format scaled to a child’s reach and movement — racket swing arcs, court coverage, and net positioning all work correctly at 10 × 5 m in a way they cannot on a full-size court. Schools and sports centres running youth programmes install it to bring children into the sport safely, and the compact footprint means it fits into courtyards and indoor halls where a standard court would not.

Clubs add it alongside their full-size courts to create a dedicated junior programme. Family-oriented hotels and resorts use it as an amenity that works for younger guests. In each setting the reduced dimensions are the point — they make the game accessible without compromising on equipment quality.

What makes this model distinct is that it is a true MejorSet court, not a scaled-down toy. It is delivered in the Full Panoramic format, with the same 360° glazed enclosure, the same galvanised steel and QUALICOAT finish, and the same 12 mm tempered glass as the professional courts — simply at half scale. Children learn on a surface and within a geometry that mirrors the full game, so the transition to a standard court later is gradual rather than abrupt.

How It Compares to the Full-Size Range

The Kids court is best understood as the Full Panoramic reimagined for young players: the same open, post-free aesthetic and premium build, scaled to 10 × 5 m with an adapted net height and two-post lighting. The full-size models in the range — the Panoramic RC-10 for clubs and recreational facilities, and the tournament editions including the FIP Official Court and Premier Padel Official Court — serve adult competitive and recreational play. The Kids court fills the role none of them can: a safe, correctly proportioned introduction to padel for players aged 5 to approximately 12.

Installation and Full Service

Premidel delivers the Kids court as a complete project: site and foundation guidance, supply of the court and all fittings, assembly by experienced installers, and commissioning of surface and lighting. Because the footprint is compact — approximately 14 × 9 m including safety zones — it can be sited indoors or outdoors in spaces a full court could not use, making it straightforward to add to an existing facility without major civil works.

During planning, the court can be tailored with light post shape, turf colour, up to two structure colours, and custom net text. See our equipment range for surfaces and accessories, or contact us to discuss site requirements and receive an individual offer.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is the MejorSet Kids court designed for?
The 10 × 5 m court is built for young players learning the game, but the reduced format is equally effective for beginners of any age who want to master the basics in a controlled, less intimidating space. It is a natural fit for clubs, academies, and schools running junior or introductory programmes.
Can adults use the Kids court too?
Yes. The smaller format suits beginner adult lessons and recreational play, and it is well suited to intensive coaching: shorter distances mean more touches on the ball and faster technical progress, which is why academies value it as a training tool.
How much space does the Kids court need?
The court itself measures 10 × 5 m. The total footprint — including safety zones — is approximately 14 × 9 m, so it can be fitted into smaller indoor or outdoor spaces where a standard 20 × 10 m court would not fit.
Is the build quality the same as a full-size court?
Yes. The MejorSet Kids court uses the same materials and finish as the professional standard courts — galvanised steel, a QUALICOAT coating, and 12 mm tempered glass in a Full Panoramic format — simply at a reduced scale designed for safe play by younger players.
From what age can children play on the Kids court?
From age 5, using adapted equipment — lighter rackets and low-compression balls. The court is dimensioned for children up to approximately age 12, after which players typically transition to a standard 20 × 10 m adult court.
Is the Kids court suitable for schools?
Yes. The compact 10 × 5 m playing area fits into school courtyards and indoor sports halls, with a minimum footprint of approximately 14 × 9 m including safety zones. The space can also be used for other activities outside padel sessions.
Can the Kids court be installed alongside standard adult courts?
Yes. Academies and clubs frequently install a Kids court next to full-size courts, creating a progression pathway from the 10 × 5 m format to the 20 × 10 m adult court.
