V-PRO Classic — Modern Classic Design

The V-PRO Classic padel court is MejorSet’s non-panoramic, traditional-design model built for clubs and recreational centres where long-term operating cost matters as much as upfront value. Constructed from hot-dip galvanised steel with 10mm tempered safety glass, available in Double (20×10m) and Single (20×6m) configurations, and rated to 120 km/h wind resistance, the V-PRO Classic delivers genuine MejorSet engineering — manufactured in Spain, with 20+ years of court-building experience behind every weld — at the most accessible point in the MejorSet padel court range.

The design philosophy is deliberate: remove polymer parts that wear out, use laser-cut components for consistent fit, and keep the structure straightforward to install and maintain. The result is a court built to last, not to impress on opening day.

Construction and Materials

The V-PRO Classic structure uses 100×50×2mm steel posts on the back and side panels, with structural steel sheet corner posts up to 4m height. All steel is hot-dip galvanised and finished with an oven-baked epoxy polyester resin coating — QUALICOAT-certified and available in any RAL colour. For courts in coastal or high-humidity environments, an optional two-coat pure epoxy primer provides additional corrosion protection.

Glass panels are 10mm tempered safety glass, mounted on 5mm neoprene and certified to UNE EN 12150-1. The 10mm specification keeps costs controlled without compromising player safety — tempered safety glass at this thickness remains the industry standard for non-panoramic court designs. Premium panoramic models in the MejorSet range step up to 12mm glazing; the V-PRO Classic prioritises economics without cutting corners on the glass standard itself.

No polymer parts are used in the structural system. This is a deliberate design choice: polymer components in court structures require periodic inspection and replacement as they degrade under UV exposure and temperature cycles. By eliminating them, the V-PRO Classic reduces the maintenance burden over the court’s operational life.

The Double (20×10m) configuration is the standard for club and recreational play and conforms to official padel court dimensions. The Single (20×6m) variant suits tighter footprints — training facilities, hotel amenity spaces, or indoor halls with restricted width — where a full-width court is not feasible.

Lighting

The V-PRO Classic uses the FL LINE lighting system with configurable power and quantity calibrated to the required lux level — training, club recreational, or higher-intensity club competition. Light posts are available in curved, Z-shape, or straight profiles, finished in the client’s chosen colour. The standard configuration includes 8 × 200W LED fixtures, delivering efficient, even illumination across the playing surface without hotspots or shadow zones.

Surface Options

The V-PRO Classic is supplied with artificial turf — padel courts use exclusively artificial turf, not natural grass. Four turf colours are available, allowing the court to match a club’s visual identity or blend into the surrounding facility. MejorSet works with Mondo artificial turf, a specification used across the broader MejorSet range for consistent playing characteristics and durability.

Customisation Options

Despite sitting at the entry point of the MejorSet range, the V-PRO Classic supports meaningful customisation:

  • Net cover with client logo
  • Player protectors on exits and net posts
  • Floodlight model selection to match lux requirements
  • Nylon protective nets on back and side walls
  • Competition net upgrade
  • Technical area customisation for club or event use

Colour, logo placement, and light post profile are all configurable at the specification stage — so the court can carry a club’s identity without requiring the full premium glazing of panoramic models.

Who the V-PRO Classic Is For

The V-PRO Classic is built for operators whose first priority is sound economics and reliable operation. Clubs adding padel for the first time use it to open courts without overextending their budget. Recreation and community centres specify it for high-utilisation public play, where durability under heavy daily use matters more than spectacle. Hotels and holiday parks choose it where a padel court is a facility amenity rather than a flagship attraction. Academies use it for training courts and club leagues where tournament certification is not a requirement.

In every case the appeal is consistent: genuine MejorSet construction — the same manufacturer behind the official courts of the International Padel Federation (FIP) and the Premier Padel tour — at the most accessible point in the range.

How It Compares to Other Models

The V-PRO Classic is the practical counterpoint to the rest of the MejorSet lineup. Where the Full Panoramic and Panoramic RC-10 use 12mm panoramic glazing for an open, spectator-friendly look, the V-PRO Classic uses a traditional enclosure with 10mm glass to keep costs down. Where the FIP Official Court and Premier Padel Official Court are built to tournament specification with official federation identity, the V-PRO Classic is built for everyday club and recreational play.

For most clubs the decision comes down to whether the court needs to be a showpiece or a workhorse. The V-PRO Classic is the workhorse — lower upfront cost, fewer wearing parts, and straightforward maintenance over a long operational life.

Installation and Full Service

Premidel supplies the V-PRO Classic as a complete, turnkey project: site and foundation guidance, delivery of the court and all fittings, assembly by experienced installers, and commissioning of the surface and lighting. The court is suited to both indoor and outdoor installation. Laser-cut components make assembly efficient and consistent, reducing on-site time and the margin for fit errors.

During the planning phase, the court can be configured with a branded net cover, player protectors, floodlight model, protective nylon nets, competition net, and a customised technical area. For the full range of compatible surfaces, accessories, and smart court systems, browse the equipment range or explore Smart Padel systems for connected court management. Durability and Value

Durability on the V-PRO Classic comes from material quality and intelligent design rather than premium glazing. The QUALICOAT-certified hot-dip galvanised steel structure is available in any RAL colour, with an optional two-coat pure epoxy primer for coastal sites. The 10mm tempered glass, mounted on 5mm neoprene and certified to UNE EN 12150-1, meets the same safety standard as the broader MejorSet range. With no polymer wearing parts, a 120 km/h wind resistance rating with proper anchoring, and a structure designed for minimal intervention over its lifespan, the V-PRO Classic delivers low total cost of ownership.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is the V-PRO Classic different from the panoramic models?
The V-PRO Classic uses a traditional, non-panoramic design with 10 mm tempered glass rather than the 12 mm panoramic glazing of the premium models. That makes it the most economical court in the range while keeping MejorSet build quality, which is ideal for clubs prioritising value and low running costs.
Can I choose the artificial turf colour on the V-PRO Classic?
Yes. The V-PRO Classic offers a choice of artificial turf colours, and the structure can be supplied in any RAL colour, so the court can be matched to your club's branding or facility design.
Is the V-PRO Classic suitable for professional tournaments?
The V-PRO Classic is designed primarily for recreational play, club leagues, and training. For sanctioned competition under FIP or Premier Padel, we recommend the FIP Official Court or the Premier Padel Official Court, which are built to tournament specification.
Why does the V-PRO Classic need less maintenance?
The design avoids polymer parts that require periodic replacement, and laser-cut components fit precisely for a cleaner, more durable assembly. Fewer wearing parts means lower long-term maintenance, which is a key reason clubs choose it to control operating costs.
What are the dimensions of the V-PRO Classic?
The V-PRO Classic is available in Double (20×10m) with a 200 m² turf area and 12 pillars, and Single (20×6m) with a 120 m² turf area and 8 pillars. The Single variant is for tighter indoor or outdoor spaces where a full-width court is not practical.
What is the wind resistance of the V-PRO Classic?
The V-PRO Classic is rated to 120 km/h wind resistance when correctly anchored to a compliant foundation.
Who is the V-PRO Classic best suited for?
Sports clubs adding their first padel courts, recreational and community centres, and multi-court facilities where per-court cost needs to be managed. It is also a practical choice for hotels and holiday parks where padel is an amenity rather than a flagship product.
